This week I have the pleasure of talking to The Fight Dietitian, Jordan Sullivan. In this episode we are talking more about work with combat athletes, but the lessons in this episode can translate to virtually any sport.

We discuss the importance of using nutrition as a tool to perform.  Especially in the world of combat sports, athletes are focused on keeping their weight low.  However, they overlook the importance of using nutrition to FUEL their performance. Your ability to simply lose weight is not conducive to performing.  However, learning to manage the weight loss and use it to fuel performance and recovery is going to be the key difference in how you will perform when you need to.
